DualGlo Technology plc provides an approximate colour matching service with regard to the daylight colour produced.
Due to the nature of the material [as charge and light conditions vary, so will the perceived colour] matching a RAL or Pantone colour is not always possible; although a reasonably close match is normally attainable.
It should be noted however that there are a few parameters that can effect colour match results:
1) As required daylight colours become darker and deeper; the level of glow output is often reduced.
2) As Daylight colours hue towards the red or black spectrums, the level of glow output is often reduced.
3) Where more technically difficult colours are demanded a compromise often has to be made between Daylight colour and Glow output results.
4) Please note that whilst DualGlo masterbatch may be used in many different polymers, as polymers vary, so will the final daylight and glow colours, as is typically the case when using standard colorants in varied colorants.
Custom Colours
Light switches: we have successfully matched shades of daytime white to those used by a light switch manufacturer, with the result that the switches look normal during daylight hours and glow after dark.
Whistles for life jackets: all life jackets have to be equipped with a whistle that is coloured ins an approved shade of orange call Emergency orange. We have successfully matched shades of daytime emergency orange and added nighttime glow.
